A truly great popular music singer-far better than overhyped Boyle though her fans seem to think she's better!! Streisand is at the top level of her art in the same way Diana Damrau+DiDonato are the current top Classical sopranos(see them in my videos).
Great song too-far better than I Dreamed+dreadful Time to say Goodbye mush.

Oh my GOD...she, her voice, presence, soul....gift from GOD is all I can say. Inimitable...Barbra Streisand...her singing was so mature and soulful at a very young age from the 1960s..onwards, ageless, timeless ..

Boyle is pretty good but, as you said, not close to Streisand.
